The former AEW star seemingly made it known that he was a free agent and not officially assigned to the SmackDown brand yet, by teasing showing up on tomorrow night’s show. Keys responded to RAW GM Adam Pearce’s announcements and teased invading tomorrow night’s show in Sacramento.

“Hmmmm 1hr 15min drive🤔,” he wrote.

Keys spent six years in All Elite Wrestling and captured the TNT and Trios Championships during his time in the promotion.

Royce Keys comments on why he decided to sign with WWE

Royce Keys recently opened up about his decision to sign with the company and noted that he had people who depended on him.

“The moment I had talks about coming here and signing here, this isn’t a one-off. This isn’t me, like, ‘Hey, I’m a WWE Superstar now. Let me gloat.’ No. I still have to work. It took me years to get here. Honeymoon phase is over. Let’s get with it. Let’s do work. I got people that depend on me. I got people that I can’t let down. I got people I take care of. If I fail, they don’t eat, and I’m not about to have that on my conscience,” he said.

Royce Keys says he wants become a champion, legend, and hall of famer in WWE “I got people that depend on me. I got people that I can’t let down. If I fail they don’t eat and I’m not about to have that on my conscious.”

It will be interesting to see if Royce Keys decides to make an appearance on tomorrow night’s episode of RAW following his dominant victory over Berto on SmackDown.
