Former WWE NXT Champion Oba Femi has been riding a massive wave of success since making his main roster debut. He answered Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania 42 Open Challenge and is all set to face The Beast Incarnate in a singles match.
The Ruler has shockingly overpowered The Beast Incarnate for two weeks straight. However, this week, Lesnar came prepared in his wrestling gear alongside Paul Heyman and was all set to confront Femi and engage in a fight.

Adam Pearce came out and told Lesnar and Heyman that the match wasn’t happening on RAW and Femi wouldn’t come out. However, the former NXT Champion refused to take orders from the GM and showed up to confront Lesnar. He destroyed every security guard in his way and crossed the line by putting his hands on Pearce. The Ruler shoved Scrap Iron, and the latter crashed into the barricade.
Following the company’s flagship weekly show, Pearce took to his X account, posting a clip of the moment when Femi shoved him. He hinted that the former NXT Champion would be punished for his actions. Now, fans are wondering what punishment GM would impose on Femi. Pearce could levy a massive fine on The Ruler since he captioned the post, “Oba FINEmi.”
Former UFC champion praises rising WWE star
In an interview on Full Send MMA, the two-time UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya was asked to name his favorite World Wrestling Entertainment entrance themes.
He mentioned the themes of Rey Mysterio, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Godfather, and Stacy Keibler. At last, he picked Oba Femi’s theme and praised him.
“I’d say right now, Oba Femi. I really like the way he just moves. I like the way he’s carrying the WWE right now. He’s the guy. He’s just like, he’s got that swagger. So shout out to Oba Femi. It’s not Oba, it’s Oba Femi. That’s the guy right now,” Adesanya said. (H/T: Fightful)
