AEW All In: Texas took place on July 12, 2025. The event featured twelve matches, and all of them delivered. In its main event, Hangman Adam Page became the new AEW World Champion by dethroning the Death Riders’ leader, Jon Moxley, in a Texas death match.
All Elite Wrestling has several prestigious titles, including the TNT Championship. This gold is currently held by the Don Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher. The Protostar is one of the most talented names on the roster. He has the potential to become a megastar and eventually hold the World Title someday. Soundsphere recently interviewed the 27-year-old, and in this conversation, he revealed that All In: Texas was one of the worst days of his life.
Fletcher was initially going to challenge Adam Cole for the TNT Title at the annual show. However, Tony Khan confirmed during the All In Zero Hour pre-show that Cole had suffered from an injury and was not cleared to wrestle. The former WWE star vacated the title. Eventually, a four-way match was contested between Fletcher, Daniel Garcia, Sammy Guevara, and Dustin Rhodes for the vacant belt. Rhodes won this showdown and became the new champion.
The Protostar explained that he had been preparing for his match against Cole for months, and he felt awful when plans changed on the day of the pay-per-view.
“It was one of the worst days of my whole life. When you have so much built up anxiety and you’ve put that pressure on yourself… You know, I’d been dieting for two, three months leading up to that show. Every single day, I’d been thinking about this moment, this match, all of it. And then the rug gets pulled five hours before, you can’t really put into words what that kind of feels like,” he said.
Career achievements of AEW star Kyle Fletcher
Kyle Fletcher is currently on his second AEW TNT Championship reign. He has also held the World Trios Championship once with Kazuchika Okada and Mark Davis.
The Protostar has won titles in promotions like New Japan Pro Wrestling, Over the Top Wrestling, Progress Wrestling, and more. Only time will tell what the future holds for him.
