We got called off the show

Brie Bella and Paige recently missed a WWE show in Paris, which left fans disappointed. The reigning Women’s Tag Team Champion explained the reason for her absence.

Brie and Paige are currently the WWE Women’s Tag Team champion alongside Paige, having won the belts at at WrestleMania 42. This marked Paige’s first match in the Stamford-based promotion after her return. Since then, they have defended the belts against The Judgment Day, The Irresistible Forces, as well as Giulia & Kiana James.

Speaking about them not being present in the Paris show, Brie Bella noted on a recent episode of The Nikki and Brie Show that the creative department did not need them at the time. Brie was apparently not affected by the dismissal.

“It’s crazy to think like today I was supposed to be in Paris. And I’m sorry because I saw some people going to the show thinking Paige and I were there, but um you know we got called off the show. They ended up not meeting us and um, which I wasn’t bummed about because I was so ready to get home. But it’s crazy to think like I’d be in Paris like probably asleep, you know, right now.”

Brie Bella recently talked about her husband and former WWE star Bryan Danielson training her

Bryan Danielson is apparently the inspiration behind Brie Bella’s current run in WWE.

Speaking on The Nikki and Brie Show, Brie explained how her husband is training her. She also mentioned that he was a strict trainer, something that she appreciated.

“I know where I stand and how much longer I have and what it is, so I don’t want to have any regrets. For me, it’s just been kind of my number one priority. And it’s fun because I feel like people are recognizing all the training I’m doing, and especially Bryan’s my coach, and I think they are all seeing the inspiration of Bryan… He’s incredible, and let me tell you, he’s hard on me. Which I need and I love it. He gives me hard feedback. Every single detail.”

With Brie and Paige currently holding titles, it remains to be seen what is next for them down the line.
