Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift attended the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. New York Knicks playoff game on Saturday, and his courtside antics became viral. He addressed his beer chugging on the “New Heights” podcast on Wednesday.

With the Cavs getting blown out in the third quarter of a 121-108 loss in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals, Travis downed a beer to fire up the crowd.

“Nothing much (is going on?)?” Jason said on “New Heights” on Wednesday. “The internet would beg to differ: ‘You f***ing classless. You’re a role model, Travis. You cannot be out there chugging beers in public.'”

Travis responded: “It was a classy chug, Jason, all right? Didn’t spill one drop. Didn’t crush the can. I’m on the hardwood floor at an NBA game. Could’ve got messy. It was a smooth, classy chug to get the people going.

“We were down 10 f**king points. I’m trying to get some type of energy going in the building.”

After the critique, Jason Kelce praised Travis.

“It was an elegant chug,” Jason said. “It wasn’t, like, too much energy. It was just the right amount, and it was smooth. Just like everything you do. You are a smooth athlete. You run routes smooth. You have a smooth golf swing, and you’re a smooth chugger.”

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, a three-time Super Bowl champion, co-hosts the “New Heights” podcast with his brother, former Eagles center Jason Kelce. Both grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
