A daughter of a WWE legend has confessed to battling suicidal thoughts. Back in 2023, Sherilyn Guerrero, the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero, accused her stepfather Kris Benson of s*xual assault.

While Vickie Guerrero and her husband denied the allegations, Sherilyn maintained that the truth would always come out. Now, in an interview on The Smooth Vega Podcast, Sherilyn has opened up on dealing with trauma following the assault.

“I don’t mind talking about it. You know, I went through s*xual assault and it was something that I felt that I wanted to give up. I didn’t want to be here anymore. I didn’t have my protectors anymore,” she said.

She then mentioned that what kept her going was having seen her father battle through his problems and get things back on track for his family. Sherliyn added that having her life public made it difficult to deal with the situation.

The 30-year-old said that this meant she was forced to be silent and struggled with suicidal thoughts.

“It got so dark, so privately, still publicly, but still privately where I was just forced to be quiet about it, and I had to find a way that it wasn’t going to kill me. You know, I had battles with suicidal ideation, and I had to know I would be cheating the way out if I did,” she revealed.
