Twitch streamer Hasan Piker, also known as “HasanAbi,” has called out Fox News for bringing up the alleged dog shock collar controversy from October 2025 and has stated that “literal stalkers were on the payroll.” During a livestream on May 25, 2026, HasanAbi reacted to a clip from a Fox News segment about him receiving a federal subpoena for his March 2026 trip to Cuba.

At one point, a Fox News correspondent said the following while referencing the “CollarGate” controversy:

“It’s not about speech; this is about his activity. So we’ll wait and see what he’s got going on there. Also, some issues with the dog collar that I don’t like.”

The Turkish-American personality appeared to be taken aback by these statements and stated:

“They can’t even … say it, too, because they are worried about getting sued. Isn’t that funny? Fox News is trying to entertain it, but they can’t, like, fully can’t say it because random … chirpers on the internet, obviously, don’t have that same fear. But there is a level of, like, editorial control when you are a mainstream media outlet; so they can only point to it, they can’t fully lean into it. You know?”

The Twitch political commentator added:

“(A Fox News reporter says, ‘I made sure we had a picture of Kaya in our…’) That’s insane, bro! This is a Fox News Sunday program! What the … do you mean?! I have literal … stalkers on the payroll, dude!”

HasanAbi calls out Fox News for its “stalker operation”

HasanAbi continued the conversation by calling out Fox News for its “stalker operation.” After hearing a Fox News reporter claim that the 34-year-old’s dog, Kaya, sits in the back of his livestreams “for hours on end,” the content creator responded:

“Bro, your own stalker operation literally destroyed the … meta. Not only did it prove that it is a … vibration collar, but it also proved that she goes on long walks throughout the goddamn day! So, obviously, she’s not … sitting behind me the whole day; she’s literally outside in the … photos! I know, it doesn’t matter. None of it … matters. But Jesus Christ, dude! It is so strange!”

In other news, during a livestream on May 24, 2026, Zack “Asmongold” expressed “zero sympathy” for HasanAbi after he was served with a federal subpoena.
