JBL has broken his silence after a WWE superstar was arrested. On May 20, in Orange County, Florida, WWE superstar Ludwig Kaiser was arrested after being charged with battery.
While accusations of domestic allegations were shut down, later details emerged of Kaiser being involved in a physical altercation with a man named Richard Reap in an elevator.

An affidavit alleged that Reap objected to Kaiser and a woman acting in an “uncontrollably intimate” manner inside an elevator in an Orlando apartment. Reap claimed that following this Kaiser punched him repeatedly and threatened further violence.
Following the arrest, Kaiser was bonded out of Orange County Corrections in Orlando on $1,000 bail. Now, Hall of Famer JBL has come to the defense of the WWE star, who portrays the El Grande Americano character on TV.
Speaking on Something to Wrestle With, JBL backed the 35-year-old and shared his doubts over the story by the alleged victim.
“This is something that couldn’t be better for Kaiser. I mean, let this story get out there. I don’t know if the story is true or not. I don’t really believe either side of the story, the extremes, because what do you do? What do you do when you get in trouble? The guy who calls is going to tell his version of the story, he’s going to jade it his way, then the defense is going to come, and they’re going to jade it your way,” he said.
The former WWE Champion clarified that he is not passing any judgment but said he has seen enough such incidents to know that the truth isn’t yet clear.
“I want to make clear, I’m not passing judgment. I’ve seen enough altercations to know that both sides end up, you know, going a little bit away from the truth, the truth somewhere in the middle. I am 100% behind Kaiser on this. Okay, I want unequivocally. I’m backing this guy, I think is a good guy, he’s not a hothead to me. If something happened here, the guy I think deserved it. So I don’t know what happened, but I am 100% backing Kaiser,” he added.

The story around Ludwig Kaiser’s arrest has seen another fresh twist. After the news of the affidavit and the complaint around him getting physical with the alleged victim made rounds, a fresh report has revealed the reason behind the WWE star possibly losing his cool.
Raj Giri reported that Kaiser was with his real-life partner Andrea Bazarte in the elevator and the two were having an affectionate moment. He said they were not being uncontrollably intimate as described by Richard Reap in the affidavit.
Giri mentioned after getting out of the elevator Reap sort of threatened to call ICE on Bazarte if they didn’t show him respect. This led to a scuffle between him and Kaiser, but no punches were thrown as claimed before.
