Liverpool has unveiled their 2026-27 Adidas home kit, reintroducing their iconic look from the late 1980s. Adidas has revealed the first look at the kits, alongside other details and prices.
On May 19, Adidas officially launched Liverpool’s 2026-27 home kits, including the player version and the goalkeeper version. The new kit is inspired by the Reds’ iconic 1989-90 season. The Reds had won the league title that season (ahead of the Premier League era) under the guidance of manager Kenny Dalglish. The iconic red home shirt features an all-over geometric pattern similar to the 1989-90 kit, alongside the clean white brand and club emblem printed in white.
Thanks for the submission!
The home kits are available for purchase on the Liverpool official website and on the Adidas official site. Various versions of the kit are available for different versions. The authentic version for half sleeves is priced at £120 and the long sleeves at £130. Meanwhile, the usual version costs £85 for half sleeves and £90 for full sleeves.
The Reds have yet to reveal their official away and third kits for the 2026-27 season, which are expected to launch in the upcoming months. The new home kits have dropped before the end of Liverpool’s current season, which they’re set to end trophyless. However, the Merseysiders are expected to still qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season, as they stand fifth in the Premier League table.
“We know quite well what to improve” – Arne Slot sends clear message about the current underwhelming season at Liverpool

Shortly after Liverpool lost 4-2 to Aston Villa in the Premier League last week, Arne Slot addressed fans’ concerns about the club’s underwhelming season. In the post-game press conference, Slot said (via Liverpool Echo):
“I can understand at this moment in time that [the fans] don’t have a lot of confidence or a lot of feeling that things can be much better next season. But I think they are then underestimating what a window can do, what a new start can do. I think we know quite well what to improve.”
He added:
“I think one of the things we also have to improve is also very, very obvious. If you miss nine players that can start a game of football and almost all of them are starters for us, then if you add to that in a window, that will automatically lead to much more, but that’s my opinion and no-one has to agree.”
“Even today, for large parts of the game we were close to a result but when you are the better team you need to generate more chances and if you have chances you need to score. I don’t think the difference is so big, only doing in a few situations the right thing we would have a massive upward possibility,” Slot mentioned.
Liverpool have suffered due to multiple injuries this season, including those to Hugo Ekitike, Mohamed Salah, and Alexander Isak. Salah is also set to leave the club at the end of this season. The Reds will focus on having a successful summer window ahead of next season to turn things around in terms of results.
