Paige Suffers Wardrobe Mishap On WWE SmackDown As Cameras Cut Away

Paige suffered a wardrobe mishap during WWE SmackDown

Paige and Brie Bella teamed up to face Giulia and Kiana James on this week’s episode of SmackDown. With James and Giulia already malfunctioning as a tag team, this should have been an easy match for the champions. Bella and her partner, though, found things difficult, as both opponents managed to work together for large parts of the match, despite their miscommunication in the weeks prior, which had caused tension between them.

In the end, the champs won, as the Anti-Diva hit her finisher to pick up the victory, but it did come at a cost. During the bout, things were not easy for the returned WWE star. Fans spotted her repeatedly adjusting the left side of her top. At one point, she sent Giulia to the ramp, and Giulia’s gear mishap caused her hair to become entangled with it. She was seen frantically adjusting her gear as she bent down to prevent it from becoming an even bigger issue.

She was then sent outside by Giulia and into the ring post. When she fell, the issue became worse, and the cameras cut away from her and focused on Kiana James, who was just looking on. When they cut back to her, the issue was finally resolved.

Heading into WrestleMania, Nikki and Brie Bella were supposed to team and be part of the Women’s Tag Team title match, but things went wrong. Nikki Bella was injured in the buildup to WrestleMania, suffering an ankle injury. She went into rehab for it, but despite her best attempts, was not able to clear herself before the big show. As a result, it was Paige who made her blockbuster return to WWE and appeared as the surprise partner for Brie Bella.

The star was an immediate success and became the Women’s Tag Team Champions with Brie. While Nikki has remained absent, the pair has dominated SmackDown.
