John Cena’s biggest fan has now made it clear that he hates him. The Last Real Champion’s in-ring WWE career came to an end in December last year at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
During his two-decade run in the company, he influenced many fans and aspiring pro wrestlers. One such current WWE name who used cheer for him is SmackDown star Kit Wilson.

Wilson has talked about how he grew up as a fan of the Franchise Player and his influence on him. But now times have changed. In an interview on The Takedown by SI, the 31-year-old star said he is no longer Cena’s fan and now follows The Miz.
“I grew up as the biggest John Cena fan. That was my number one guy. I remember when John Cena was taking on The Miz, Wrestlemania 27. I was John Cena all the way. But guess what? I’m an adult now. I’m grown up. I follow the Miz method,” he said.
Kit Wilson then accused Cena of taking spots meant for future stars with his appearances recently. He also said the 17-time World Champion’s time is gone.
“John Cena, yeah, I loved you, but you’re retired. You’re taking up space for the future stars. So, when I saw him on Wrestlemania and I spoke to The Miz about it, we decided to steal that moment because guess what, John? Your time is up. You’re done. You’re boring me. Move on,” he added.
John Cena builds hype for WWE Backlash announcement
After handling hosting duties for both nights of WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, WWE announced Cena’s return for Backlash.
While it is unclear what his role would be, The Champ has teased making a blockbuster announcement at the premium live event.
In a video posted on X before Backlash, Cena said that in a couple of days he will make an announcement in the Benchmark International Arena that will shock the foundations of WWE.
He mentioned that the announcement will affect everyone from fans to superstars and from the champions right down to the rookies. Fans are now eagerly awaiting to see what the announcement at Backlash will be.
