‘Looksmaxxing’ Influencer Mason Hull Arrested on Child Porn

“Looksmaxxing” influencer Mason Hull has been arrested following an investigation into the possession of child sexual abuse material.

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office confirmed in a press release that a signed arrest warrant was obtained on Wednesday, May 6, charging Hull, 18, with “15 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material following the forensic examination of his mobile phone.”

“This device contained images and videos depicting female children between the ages of 8 and 15 years old,” police alleged. “Members of the Tactical Unit (TAC) located Hull in the parking lot of his residence later that day and took him into custody.”

According to a police affidavit obtained by Us Weekly, Hull’s girlfriend at the time contacted law enforcement officers on April 30 because she claimed she found messages on his Telegram app that indicated he paid for child pornography.

Police confirmed in their press release that deputies responded to a call for service involving a suspect (Hall) being in possession of child sexual abuse material.

“Detectives with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit responded to review the evidence and conduct interviews,” police stated. “Based on training and experience, investigators determined the materials appeared to contain links to websites used to obtain CSAM, as well as conversations discussing payment for files. Hull’s mobile device was seized at the conclusion of the interview to obtain a search warrant.”

Police say the investigation remains ongoing and asked anyone who may have information regarding the investigation to contact the SCSO Investigations Bureau at (941) 861-4900.

Us has reached out to Hull’s attorneys for comment.

According to court documents obtained by Us, a judge ordered Hull on Thursday, May 7, to be held on a more than $100,000 bond. If Hull is released, he is forbidden from accessing the internet, except to communicate with his attorney. He also cannot access social media and may not have contact with minors or visit places frequented by children.

Hull had more than 350,000 followers on TikTok, although his account has been made private since his arrest.

His content was primarily part of the “looksmaxxing” subculture, a community primarily made up of mostly young men who set out to improve their physical appearances, sometimes through extreme measures.

According to his Instagram, which has also gone private, the Florida resident aims to “maximize people’s potential.”
