San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey and his wife, Olivia Culpo, announced on Friday via a joint Instagram post that they are expecting a second child. While the couple didn’t share if they were expecting a boy or a girl, McCaffrey’s teammate, Kyle Juszczyk, accidentally spoiled the secret.
“My second goddaughter (heart emoji) I’m truly honored beyond belief,” Juszczyk commented on the IG post.

McCaffrey and Culpo married on June 29, 2024. They welcomed their first child, a daughter named Colette Annalise McCaffrey, on July 13, 2025.
McCaffrey and Culpo will soon be parents to two daughters.

Christian McCaffrey and Kyle Juszczyk have been teammates at San Francisco since October 2022
The 49ers acquired Christian McCaffrey via a trade with the Carolina Panthers in October 2022. He has been teammates with Kyle Juszczyk since then, and their families have also gotten close.
Juszczyk has been with San Francisco since 2017, when the team signed him as a free agent.
McCaffrey and Juszczyk helped the 49ers to the Super Bowl in February 2024, but they lost 25-22 in overtime to the Kansas City Chiefs.
McCaffrey and Juszczyk need to be at their best next season if San Francisco is to make it to another Super Bowl.
