Jesse Williams has reportedly married Alejandra Onieva in a secret ceremony. According to TMZ, the couple tied the knot a few months ago in a low-key and private ceremony and made no public announcement.
Jesse Williams is known for his role as Dr. Jackson Avery on Grey’s Anatomy. He met Alejandra Onieva on the sets of Hotel Costiera, whose Season 1 was released in September last year. The actors were paired opposite each other and bonded during the show’s shooting on the Amalfi Coast in Italy.
They have since been seen publicly together, including their hand-in-hand appearance at the San Sebastián Film Festival. They have now reportedly tied the knot. This is Williams’ second marriage after his public divorce from his ex-wife, Aryn Drake-Lee, was completed in 2020.
Williams has been in numerous public relationships over the years, according to Pop Sugar. He first met Drake-Lee when he was a school teacher, and she was a real estate agent in the mid-2000s. They dated for around five years before tying the knot in 2012.
Jesse Williams and Aryna Drake-Lee also have a daughter, Sadie (born December 2013), and a son, Maceo (born October 2015). However, they announced their divorce in 2017. After a long legal battle involving finances, custody, and more, it was confirmed in 2020.
Williams then reportedly started dating Minka Kelly in 2017, but they split in January 2018. The Grey’s Anatomy star was then in a relationship with Taylor Rooks in May 2018, but they also appeared to split after a year.
Jesse Williams then dated Taylour Paige from May 2019 to mid-2021. They had previously met on the sets of Grey’s Anatomy but reconnected in 2019. They made numerous public appearances together and also gave joint interviews. They split in 2021, but didn’t give an official reason.
In 2022, Williams was seen with Ciarra Pardo, as dating speculation between them rose with each public appearance together. They, however, split in 2024.

When Jesse Williams addressed cheating allegations against him after divorce
Jesse Williams announced his divorce from Aryna Drake-Lee in 2017. The legal proceedings and disputes took a long time, and their divorce was confirmed in 2020.
However, Williams was rumored to be dating Minka Kelly in 2017, as they were seen together multiple times. This led to speculation on social media that the actor might have allegedly cheated on Drake-Lee.
He appeared to slam these rumors during an appearance on a video for Jay-Z’s album in 2017 (h/t Pop Sugar). He said:
“I was in a relationship 13 years, 13 real years, not five years, not seven years – 13 years. All of a sudden motherf**kers are writing think-pieces that I somehow threw a 13-year relationship. Like, the most painful experience I’ve had in my life like with a person I’ve loved with all of my heart – that I threw a person and my family in the trash because a girl I work with is cute.”
Meanwhile, according to PEOPLE, Jesse Williams and Aryna Drake-Lee ended up with shared custody for their kids. The actor was also ordered to pay $40,000 every month for child support.
