Finn Balor was pinned in a controversial manner. He was beaten after suffering another major betrayal.
Finn Balor spent the last few years as part of Judgment Day. However, in the past year, Balor and Dominik Mysterio have taken shots at each other. Things reached a boiling point after Dom lost the Intercontinental Championship to Penta. When Dom confronted Balor about his title loss, the latter attacked the former. However, JD McDonagh helped Dom by attacking Balor. The rest of Judgment Day also joined in the assault. Balor faced off and defeated Dom at WrestleMania 42. On the 20th April episode of RAW, Balor got his revenge on JD and defeated him. Last week, Finn tried to warn Roxanne Perez about her stablemates. However, she wouldn’t listen to him.
Thanks for the submission!
Tonight on WWE RAW, Finn Balor faced off against JD McDonagh again. The rest of Judgment Day were also present at ringside for this match. Dom got himself ejected from ringside after he kept interfering in the match. During the closing moments of the match, Liv Morgan passed a hammer to Roxanne Perez, who used it to hit Finn, allowing JD to pick up the win. Although Roxanne was part of Judgment Day, this is the first time she is attacking Balor.
Liv Morgan broke character to praise Finn Balor
Liv Morgan was part of the Judgment Day along with Balor for the past few years. While the two of them were on the same side, they rarely got along on TV. However, Morgan respects Balor’s experience.
During an interview with Paper Magazine, Liv Morgan broke character to call Finn a seasoned veteran in the business.
“It’s been a lot of fun. I came into The Judgment Day with Finn Balor, a seasoned veteran in this business. JD McDonagh, who was trained by Finn Balor. Dominik Mysterio is a generational wrestler. He’s been in the business since he was, like, seven years old. My best friend, Raquel Rodriguez, and now, my little prodigy, Roxanne Perez. I think that we all just love WWE first and foremost. We love the stories we get to tell with The Judgment Day. We have a lot of fun together. We trust each other. It’s really a tight-knit group, even through all the changes across the different iterations over the last four or so years.” Morgan said.
It remains to be seen if Balor will be able to find some allies to battle Judgment Day.
