Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid rolled back the clock and delivered a vintage performance on Tuesday. The muscular center single-handedly kept his team’s season alive, helping Philadelphia notch a 113-97 win in a tough elimination game on the road. His heroics pushed the series to a Game 6, which will take place in Philadelphia.
Clearly hobbled and not 100% healthy, Embiid once again proved why he is among the top 3 most dominant players in the world. The Paris Olympics Gold medalist finished the game with 33 points on 12 of 23 shooting, including 0 of 3 from beyond the arc. He also had four assists, eight rebounds and one block in 39 minutes.
Thanks for the submission!
Fans were in awe of Embiid’s masterclass at the TD Garden. Netizens took to social media soon after the game concluded and hailed the Sixers center for his remarkable performance.

Massive injury scare for Joel Embiid
The Philadelphia 76ers suffered a massive scare after Joel Embiid tweaked his knee while contesting a Jaylen Brown jumper in the third quarter. Embiid grimaced in pain as Philadelphia coach Nick Nurse called a timeout. The former league MVP headed to the locker room, and it seemed like his night would be done.
After getting treated by the medical staff in the locker room, Embiid displayed immense courage and fight. He made his way back to the court and decided to play through discomfort to help his team win the game. His decision paid rich dividends after he made big plays in the fourth quarter to seal the deal for Philadelphia.
It was one of the best games of his playoff career, a truly all-time performance. But what is even more impressive is that Embiid could have 100% not returned post surgery and nobody would have batted an eye. His warrior-like mentality and toughness need to be applauded.
