A restaurant in Florida came under scrutiny after allegedly sharing surveillance footage featuring members of BTS during their recent visit to the United States. While in the city, the members RM, Jin, Jimin, V, and j-hope were seen dining at Finn’s Dockside Bar & Grill. Following the outing, RM shared a group photo from the visit through his Instagram Stories on April 24.
Days later, on April 29, fans reported that the restaurant had allegedly provided its CCTV footage to a local news outlet. The approximately 30 seconds long clip showed the five members entering the restaurant with their managers, conversing among themselves, and later taking their seats to dine. The broadcast also reportedly included a picture of their food bill.
The development quickly drew attention online, leading to immediate backlash, with fans raising concerns over privacy. Many described the circulation of surveillance footage and the inclusion of billing details as an intrusion into the group’s private time. One widely circulated comment stated,
“Beside sharing the different angles of CCTVs that restaurant even shared their orders. That goes beyond invasion on their privacy!!!”
The incident quickly gained traction across social media platforms. Some fans called for a boycott of the restaurant, urging fellow fans to leave low-star ratings on Google reviews.
The situation continued to draw attention, with discussions condemning the privacy breach. Fans continued to post messages criticizing the decision to share internal footage.
BTS wrap Tampa tour stop with sold-out shows, 190,000 attendees and dynamic setlist across three nights
BTS concluded the Tampa leg of their North American tour with three concerts held on April 25, 26 and 28. The shows were the group’s return to U.S. performances after nearly four years and recorded full-capacity attendance across all dates. As per a report by STARNEWS proximately 190,000 audiences attended the three concerts combined over three days, with tickets selling out well in advance.
The performances opened with Hooligan from their latest album ARIRANG, followed by a blended setlist of newer releases with earlier hits. Across all three nights, the group performed a largely consistent setlist featuring tracks such as Aliens, Run BTS, Like Animals, Body To Body, Not Today, Fire, Idol, Butter and Dynamite, among others. During the performance of Body To Body, which incorporated elements of the Korean folk song Arirang, audiences joined in collectively, creating a synchronized response across the venue.
Each concert also included a rotating “random song” or surprise segment, where tracks from their past discography were played based on audience response and atmosphere. On April 25, Permission to Dance and Magic Shop were performed in this segment.
On April 26, Boy with Luv and Pied Piper were included. The April 28 show featured Life Goes On and Silver Spoon. The spontaneity of this segment contributed to varied experiences across the three dates. During closing remarks, member Jin reflected on his previous experiences in the city and expressed satisfaction with returning with the group, saying,
“I felt this during the ‘Run BTS’ tour as well, but Tampa is truly the best. I strongly recommended to the members that we must come here, carrying the same feelings from back then. After performing here, I have no regrets about this decision.”
The other BTS members also acknowledged initial concerns about beginning the North American leg but noted that audience reception in Tampa helped ease those concerns. They conveyed appreciation for fan support and emphasized the significance of the moment as they resumed large-scale touring.
Following the Tampa concerts, BTS are scheduled to continue their tour with performances at Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso on May 2 and 3. The broader tour includes 31 shows across 12 cities in North America, all of which have reportedly sold out. The group is also set to expand the tour globally, with a total of over 80 performances planned across multiple regions, including Asia and Europe.
