Knowing how to teleport in Saros makes a real difference the further you get into the game. The world is built across multiple biomes, and once you start pushing deeper into the story, backtracking on foot stops being a realistic option. Teleportation is not something you just stumble across, either. It ties directly into story progression, which means there is a specific point where it opens up and a specific way to use it from that moment forward.
The system is not overly complicated once it clicks, but getting to that point requires a few steps that are easy to miss if nobody walks you through them. Here is what happens and how you can teleport in Saros.

How to unlock teleport in Saros
Teleportation in Saros does not become available right away. The feature unlocks only after you have beaten Prophet, which is one of the earlier major story milestones. You can check out our complete guide on beating the boss in Saros.

Once that fight is done, the door to everything that follows opens up, including the ability to move between biomes without having to cover every inch of ground manually.
Ancient Depths is your first new destination

After the Prophet fight, the next destination to aim for is Ancient Depths, a new biome that opens up as part of your story progression. There is a catch though. You cannot just walk through the door of Ancient Depths directly. The entry works differently here.
Instead of using the standard entrance, you need to find and use the nearby portal to get inside. That portal is what triggers the teleport technology to fully unlock for you.

How does the active Teleport Zone appear in Saros?
When you are near an active teleport point, the visual cue is hard to miss. You will see a glowing orange platform beneath your character, and it has a molten or lava-like appearance to it. That glow is what marks the active interaction zone. If you are standing on it, you are in the right spot.
How to use teleport in Saros
Once you are standing on that glowing platform, the input to use is hold Triangle on PS5. Doing this returns you to the Passage, which is your home base of sorts. This is the action that kicks off the teleport sequence, so make sure you are actually on the platform when you press it.

When you arrive back at the Passage, you will find Primary waiting there. Primary is a Soltari bot, and takes decisions on behalf of Soltari in Carcossa. Think of Primary as the character you go to whenever you need to move somewhere fast or sort out your build. Walk up to Primary and press Triangle on PS5 to interact and begin the process.
After that first interaction, Primary can be configured to teleport you to the start of each biome you have unlocked through the story. This is not a free-form fast travel system where you can drop anywhere you like.
The destinations are tied to your story progress, meaning you can only teleport to biomes you have actually reached through normal gameplay. Nothing skips ahead.
Using the World Dial to travel

The specific tool inside Primary’s interface that handles the actual movement is called the World Dial. When you interact with Primary, this is what you are looking for. The World Dial lets you select your destination and execute the teleport in Saros.
It keeps things clean and centralised, with Primary acting as the single hub for all your fast travel needs rather than having scattered warp points spread across the map.
