Roman Reigns had a very successful weekend in Las Vegas at WrestleMania 42. He won the World Heavyweight Championship after defeating CM Punk in the main event of Night 2 of the Show of Shows. Bloodline Legend Rikishi sent a bold message to the Tribal Chief following his victory at the Grandest Stage of Them All. He shared a video of Reigns from an old documentary where the OTC is sharing a piece of advice.
After Reigns won the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble by last eliminating Gunther, he challenged CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship on the next night on RAW. Over the next few weeks, the rivalry grew more personal as Punk disrespected Reigns’ father in a promo. Roman Reigns took his revenge by taking CM Punk’s title away from him at WrestleMania.

Reigns’ Uncle Rikishi took to X and shared a video of Reigns from an old documentary featuring him. In the video, Reigns said this:
“As a man, if you’re useful they’ll always keep you around. No matter what you do, no matter how bad you hurt them. If you have purpose, they have to acknowledge you. They have to respect you. I’m a multi-million dollar business myself because I fuel a multi-billion dollar business, and that doesn’t seem like enough to me. I want more. And it comes back to one thing. They all say the same s**t; I love to wrestle, I love the fans. Yeah cool, man. Ask anybody at the top what it really means to be over. Who’s really winning. There’s more to be had,” said Roman Reigns.
Rikishi shared the video as a piece of advice for people around him. He captioned it with a bold two-word message:
“That part . 🔐,” he wrote.
It’s great to see Roman Reigns receive appreciation from a real-life Bloodline Legend like Rikishi.
Roman Reigns will possibly face Jacob Fatu at WWE Backlash 2026
After winning the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 42, Reigns showed up to Monday Night RAW along with the Usos. He was interrupted by Jacob Fatu who laid out the challenge to him for the World Heavyweight title at Backlash. Reigns said he has no problem facing Jacob but gave him a week to think about challenging him.
On the following SmackDown, Jacob made his intentions clear by cutting a bold promo as the Usos watched. It is very clear that WWE is planning to have a bout between the Samoan Werewolf and the Tribal Chief at Backlash in Tampa.
It will be interesting to see who will leave Backlash as the World Heavyweight Champion.
