Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley had a tense segment on Collision this week. The Purveyor of Violence has allowed Ospreay to join the Death Riders. Now, the ball is in The Ariel Assassin’s court, and he is to answer Moxley next week. Until then, fans have been buzzing with major speculations about what Ospreay can do. Amid all those speculations, a top champion has taken a major jab at the British superstar.

The star is none other than IWGP Heavyweight Champion Callum Newman. The latter is a part of the United Empire in New Japan Pro Wrestling, a faction that was once led by Will Ospreay. But The Ariel Assassin left NJPW to join AEW, leaving the faction without any leader. While the Empire made its return to AEW a few weeks ago to assist Will Ospreay against Jon Moxley, there still appears to be underlying tension between Ospreay and Newman.

Taking to X, the IWGP Champion shared his reaction to the recent segment between Ospreay and Moxley. As a jab, Newman asked The Ariel Assassin to join the Death Riders and leave his fans, similar to how he left United Empire. It was a sharp shot by Callum that added much more drama to the ongoing feud between Will and Mox.

“Go ahead and leave a second time,” wrote Newman.

Will Ospreay revealed what he tried to achieve with his first pay-per-view match following his return

The Ariel Assassin had a long hiatus from AEW before making his return at the Revolution event. For his first pay-per-view match since his return, Ospreay faced Jon Moxley at Dynasty for the Continental Championship. Recently, the former International Champion talked about what he wanted to achieve with his match with Moxley.

Speaking with The Sportster, Will said that he believes he has set a high standard of matches at pay-per-views and big events. Therefore, he wanted to deliver a similar sort of match with his return at Dynasty as well. The British star added that he feels like he was able to deliver a great showdown with Mox.

“I set such a high volume of pay-per-view standard and pay-per-view quality matches before I got hurt. I wanted to come back and still be able to reassure people that pay-per-view Billy Goat is still one of the best wrestlers in the world. I feel like I proved it once again.” Ospreay said.

Well, the feud between Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley has now transitioned from a regular program to a fight between two moral forces. It will be interesting to see the next chapter of this heated rivalry from here on out in All Elite Wrestling.
