On the third day of the 2026 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals picked Carson Beck as the 65th overall pick. Despite getting linked to Ty Simpson for much of last week, choosing the former Miami Hurricanes quarterback came as a shock for many fans and analysts. Nevertheless, Beck’s sister, Kylie, celebrated her brother’s accomplishment.
Kylie Beck, who was a former Georgia Bulldogs cheerleader, took to Instagram to hype her brother.
Thanks for the submission!
“CMON CARDINALS!! ❤️🖤,” Kylie captioned the post.

“GOD DID!! 🙏🏻”

Beck spent his first five years of college at Georgia, where he won two national championships as a backup QB. He then transferred to the Miami Hurricanes for his senior season and led the team to the CFP National Championship Game.
Nick Saban gave an honest assessment of Carson Beck after getting drafted by the Cardinals
After getting picked by the Cardinals, the former Alabama head coach, Nick Saban, provided an honest review of Carson Beck.
“This guy has a chance to be a really good player,” said Nick Saban, according to ESPN. “He’s a good athlete. He’s got really good feet, he’s got a really good arm, he’s got whipped strength, gets rid of the ball quick, pocket presence. And he’s got everything you want.”
“One thing that people say is that he turns the ball over too much. But he has one of the lowest unforced errors, 6%. That’s sacks, fumbles, and interceptions of all the quarterbacks in this draft.”
NFL insider Tom Pelissero believed that Beck had the potential to get drafted on the first night of the 2026 NFL draft. Even though Beck possesses many traits of a first-round quarterback, his draft stock somehow slid. A Sports Illustrated report by Albert Breer suggested that the QB’s “loner” personality could ward off many NFL teams from him.
He ended his season with 3,813 yards and 30 touchdowns.
