AEW star Will Ospreay might be out of action after returning last month. The Aerial Assassin returned to AEW at Revolution after recovering from neck surgery. He immediately challenged Jon Moxley to a match for revenge. The Ace had injured him in August 2025. At Dynasty, the Continental Champion defeated him. Following his return, fans were concerned about his wrestling style. However, surgery didn’t alter his high-flying skills.

Following the pay-per-view, the former International Champion was dealing with The Don Callis Family. He faced Mark Davis tonight on Dynamite. The heavyweight focused on attacking The Aerial Assassin’s neck and was successful in executing his plan. After back-to-back attacks, Ospreay hurt his neck and was unable to wrestle. The referee stopped the match after doctors checked on him, and Mark Davis was declared the winner.

Unfortunately, the latter didn’t stop after winning. He grabbed Will Ospreay again for a piledriver. Shockingly, Jon Moxley and his army gathered around him before he could hurt Ospreay. The Death Riders then took him out of the ring.

Will Ospreay talks about his Dynasty performance

Despite returning from a career-threatening injury, The Aerial Assassin had a great match at Dynasty against Jon Moxley.

Speaking on The Sportster, Will Ospreay said he wanted to make sure people saw the same quality of matches he wrestled before.

“I set such a high volume of pay-per-view standard and pay-per-view quality matches before I got hurt. I wanted to come back and still be able to reassure people that pay-per-view Billy Goat is still one of the best wrestlers in the world. And undeniably, I feel like I proved it once again. It’s super scary because it still doesn’t feel like my head. I’m still like getting used to like this new neck that I’ve got now. So, it is a test, but so far I feel like I’ve been able to do all the old things that I did beforehand,” he said.

It remains to be seen whether the star is sidelined due to tonight’s attack.
