WWE star Drew McIntyre shared a personal update with his wife following WrestleMania 42. The veteran competed in an Unsanctioned Match at the biggest show of the year over the weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The 40-year-old squared off against Jacob Fatu at WWE WrestleMania 42 in an intense match. Fatu got a hold of a toolbox during the bout and bashed McIntyre over the head with it. The Samoan Werewolf followed it up with a Moonsault through a table for the pinfall victory.

Following his loss to Fatu, McIntyre took to Instagram to share a photograph with his wife while the happy couple was on the red carpet for the Hall of Fame ceremony this past Friday night. The former champion noted that he was still winning in life despite coming up short at WrestleMania.

“I stay winning regardless,” he wrote.

McIntyre lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes earlier this year. The American Nightmare defeated Randy Orton in the main event of Night 1 of WrestleMania 42 to retain the title. Pat McAfee got involved in the match, but Randy Orton betrayed the former NFL punter and hit him with an RKO out of nowhere.

And the worst thing in the world in pro wrestling is silence,” he said. (H/T: WrestlePurists)
