A fan-recorded clip showing BTS’ Jungkook at the ARIRANG world tour at Goyang on April 9 has gained attention across the social media platform X. The video was filmed from a concertgoer’s point of view. It shows Jungkook on stage during a performance while briefly directing his gaze toward the crowd. A post framed the moment as him interacting with a specific fan, which led to claims suggesting he was “flirting” during the show.
The post further alleged Jungkook of “infidelity” with aespa’s Winter. This led to fans discussing unconfirmed dating rumors involving Jungkook and Winter. Although neither artist has publicly addressed those claims.
The interpretation quickly drew varied reactions online. Several users questioned the framing of the clip. They pointed out that large-scale concert settings make it difficult for performers to single out individuals in the audience.
As the clip continued to circulate, the person who filmed the video came forward and said BTS’ Jungkook was not looking at them specifically. In her Instagram Story, @sldancesl wrote:
“I’ve been to enough concerts to know he’s just looking randomly/ but I wanna share these special moments w yall as fan lollll. Never said he was looking at me guys… . Not that delulu”
She later added another story showing the distance between the stage and the audience.
The situation has since turned into a broader conversation within fan spaces. One fan said:
“Seriously, they’ll write any bullshit just to feel important—do they lack attention at home, or haven’t they been taught to tell reality from fantasy? Dude, Jungkook probably couldn’t see two steps ahead of him. Quit messing around, leave him alone.”
More fans chimed in and shared that since it was raining, members could hardly see the audience.
More fans shared a similar opinion on this topic.
