WWE RAW this week concluded with a massive brawl between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi. Originally, both stars were scheduled to appear in a contract-signing segment with Adam Pearce and Triple H as moderators. However, things didn’t go as planned.

Besides this, CM Punk delivered a pipebomb promo, taking shots at The Rock, Roman Reigns, Vince McMahon, and more. In this article, we will be looking at five things WWE subtly told us on the red brand show.

#5. Gunther wants Brock Lesnar

“YOU OWE ME MORE THAN JUST A THANK YOU” – GUNTHER TO PAUL HEYMAN BRO HES GOING TO RETIRE BROCK LESNAR AT SUNMERSLAM CONFIRMED #WWERAW

Gunther is set to lock horns against Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 42. During this week’s edition of the Monday Night RAW, Paul Heyman and the Ring General engaged in a backstage segment in which the Advocate mentioned that Gunther had helped him out without any personal issues with the Visionary.

In return, Gunther teases taking favor from Heyman in the near future. There is a solid belief that the former World Heavyweight Champion may cash in his favor by asking the Oracle to set up a match against Lesnar, particularly when Heyman and Brock are aligned on RAW.

#4. WWE is turning the TKO saga into a storyline

CM Punk mentioned TKO in his latest pipebomb segment and cited the company favoring Roman Reigns. The Second City Saint highlighted that TKO favored the OTC as the safe option.

Furthermore, he also targeted Pat McAfee and TKO’s decision to bring him back to boost ticket sales. For those unaware, reports revealed that TKO decided to incorporate McAfee into the storyline.

So, Punk openly calling shots against TKO on television subtly confirms that WWE is turning his entire saga into a storyline to utilize the buzz.

#3. Roxanne Perez could turn on Liv Morgan

Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan were seen in an interesting segment backstage. Initially, JD McDonagh, Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan, and Raquel Rodriguez were talking.

Soon, Dom Dom, and JD go, and Liv asks Raquel to allow having a private conversation with Perez. The former Women’s Champion pointed out that Balor is out of the group, and he was the one who recruited Roxanne.

Before the conversation moved forward, Stephanie Vaquer destroyed them, ending this segment. This development subtly confirms that the company is planning for a big betrayal angle, and Perez could turn on Liv post-WrestleMania 42.

#2. Finn Balor’s alter ego is coming back

“IT’S BACK” 🩸 There is NO holding back from @FinnBalor at #WrestleMania!

Finn Balor continues to appear in a video package segment where the former Universal Champion ignites excitement for this forthcoming match against Dominik Mysterio.

In this segment, WWE dropped a subtle hint about the return of Balor’s alter ego, Demon, at Showcase of Immortals. Fans noticed that there is a dark line under Finn’s eyes, which usually happens when he paints himself as the Demon Balor.

So, these small hints could contribute to the ultimate return of Demon Finn at Mania 42.

#1. The Rock/Vince McMahon return tease

In the pipebomb segment, CM Punk mentioned Vince McMahon and called him the weird old man. He also targeted The Rock, making fun of his recent box-office failures.

The Second City Saint, citing the Final Boss and the former Chairman, subtly teases their return. Either WWE is planning to bring them to television, or one of them.

If not, then they are merely using their names to gain more attention online.
