Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are taking on Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in match number 10 of IPL 2026 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in the day game of the double-header. SRH have featured in two matches so far, losing the first and winning the second. As for LSG, they were beaten by Delhi Capitals (DC) by six wickets in their opening match.
After being hammered by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), SRH make a strong comeback to get the better of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 65 runs at Eden Gardens. Batting first, SRH posted 226-8 as Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen played blazing knock. Nitish Reddy had a memorable all-round game, while Jaydev Unadkat claimed three wickets with the ball.
LSG will have to show significant improvement with the bat after being knocked over for 141 against DC at Ekana Stadium. Abdul Samad and Mitchell Marsh were the only batters to cross the 30-run mark. In the chase, DC lost 26-4 as Prince Yadav picked up two scalps, but Lucknow did not have enough runs on the board.

LSG have won the toss and have opted to bowl first. Rishabh Pant said:
“Their main strength is batting, let them bat first, we’ll put pressure in the second innings.”
LSG have made one change – Manimaran Siddharth comes in for Anrich Nortje. For SRH, Liam Livingstone and Harshal Patel come in.
