Gujarat Titans (GT) will face Rajasthan Royals (RR) in match number nine of IPL 2026 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday, April 4. This will be the second match of the first double-header of the edition. GT began their IPL 2026 campaign with a three-wicket loss to Punjab Kings (PBKS). On the other hand, RR hammered Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by eight wickets.
GT were below par with the willow against PBKS in Mullanpur. Batting first, they managed to post just 162-26 on the board. Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler crossed the 30-run mark, but none of their batters put up a substantial score. With the ball, pacer Prasidh Krishna picked up three wickets, but his efforts were in vain.
RR held CSK to 127 in Guwahati. Fast bowlers Jofra Archer and Nandre Burger picked up two wickets each, while left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja also chipped in with a couple of scalps. In the chase, RR cruised home as opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi smacked 52 off just 17 deliveries.
