The TXT “eat my a*s” situation (more precisely, a viral clip that later turned into a meme) began on March 29, 2026. The K-pop group TOMORROW X TOGETHER posted a short video on their official TikTok account @txt.bighitent. In the clip, the members filmed a casual fit check or a backstage moment while preparing for their April comeback.
In it, they used audio from CupcakKe’s explicit track Sloppy Joe. The lyrics repeat lines such as Monday eat my a*s, Tuesday eat my a*s, and Wednesday eat my a*s, continuing in the same format. Fans, known as MOAs, reacted with amusement over the clip. In addition, CupcakKe also commented on and reshared the video.
Shortly after, BigHit reportedly removed the TikTok within hours or on the same day. This action turned the clip into what users described as lost media. But by then, many supporters had already recorded and reshared the clip. Soon after, fans then pushed hashtags such as #LetTXTEatA*s and #BIGHIT EAT MY A*S.
“Bighit you are stupid 😭 why would you delete that tiktok,” an X user commented.
Many criticized the company, questioning the decision to remove content that gained traction online.
Others are hilariously commenting, saying let TXT ‘Eat a*s.”
More about TXT’s 7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns
TOMORROW X TOGETHER will release its eighth mini album, 7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns, on April 13 at 6 pm. The record consists of 6 tracks. Meanwhile, pre-orders are ongoing until April 12.
The group marks its first comeback after renewing contracts with BigHit Music last year. The long and poetic title reflects their early concept style. It connects back to releases like CROWN and Run Away (9 and Three Quarters) from The Dream Chapter: Magic. The new project follows their previous studio album, The Star Chapter: TOGETHER, which came out last summer.
The group revealed the release date through a 1-minute 45-second teaser video in Korean. The clip presents abstract scenes and pairs them with narration focused on inner tension. The video begins with a leafless pink tree against a white wall. It is paired with soft lines about inner unrest. It shifts to black-and-white scenes of the members in a stark space, linked by a thorn-shaped shadow under the title. Clips of everyday moments and muted expressions follow before returning to the pink tree, now surrounded by smoke, with the thorn motif at the center.
