During your very early journey in Crimson Desert, you may come across the Bluemont Manor Strongbox Puzzles, which can be confusing to solve. There are two strongboxes present in two different buildings within Bluemont Manor.
Once unlocked, you can steal the items inside. They are incredibly easy to get at the very beginning of the game when you first reach Hernand City.
This article provides the exact method to solve both Bluemont Manor Strongbox Puzzles in Crimson Desert.
Crimson Desert guide: How to solve Bluemont Manor Strongbox Puzzle
The Bluemont Manor area is located in the bottom left section of Hernand City. There are two buildings, and both of them have a strongbox inside that you can unlock to steal the hidden items. Here are the locations of the strongboxes and exactly how to solve each puzzle.
Strongbox 1
The first strongbox can be found in the north building. Head inside, go to the second floor, and turn left. You will see a door. Head inside that room, and on the right wall, you will find a strongbox with an owl puzzle.
There are four switches. Pressing each of them rotates the panels. We will number the switches 1, 2, 3, and 4 from left to right. Here is the exact sequence you need to press to solve the puzzle correctly:
- Press switch 4 one time.
- Press switch 1 four times.
- Press switch 2 four times.
- Press switch 3 four times.
This will solve the first Bluemont Manor Strongbox Puzzle. Inside the hidden compartment, you will find the Oath of Darkness earrings. Wearing these gives you +2 defense.

Strongbox 2
The second strongbox is located in the south building. Head inside and go up to the second floor. When you reach the top, head into the opposite room. On the right wall, you will see the strongbox.
To solve this puzzle, you need to rotate the wheels and align the cylinders with the mountain drawing. We will number the wheels 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 from left to right. Here is how many times you need to rotate each wheel to align the cylinders:
- Lower wheel 1 five times.
- Lower wheel 2 two times.
- Lower wheel 3 four times.
- Lower wheel 4 three times.
- Lower wheel 5 five times.
Now, press the Strongbox Component and turn it to the right, and you will solve the second Bluemont Manor Strongbox Puzzle. This will reveal the hidden item, which is a finely crafted gold necklace. Wearing it increases your attack by +1. It also features a critical rate of level 1 and a refinement level of 2.
