What is rod mastery in Fisch?
Rod mastery is a feature for specific rods in Fisch where you can complete quests to unlock stat buffs, money, XP, skins, bobbers, and other rewards. Currently, only 36 rods have the mastery quests that you can complete.
Note that the Masterline Rod also has the Rod Mastery quest. Obtaining it is a challenge in itself since you must complete the Bestiary and Rod Journal to get your hands on it. Once you do, you will obtain 10k XP and unlock its rod mastery quest.

What are Fisch Masterline Rod Mastery quests?
Once you get the fishing rod, open your inventory and click on it to check its stats and the tasks required to get the mastery. Do note that Masterline Rod’s Mastery is especially challenging, since it’s dependent on you completing the quests for other fishing rods first. We have added the complete details below.

To get the Grand Reward, that is the Golden Masterline Rod skin, you must complete all the quests. This is a huge and time consuming task, and only obtainabe by end-game players. But once you do, you will have the glittering golden skin in your inventory.
Absolute Mastery
To get the Absolute Mastery for the Masterline Rod, you must complete the mastery quests of every other fishing rod in the game. This again is a challenging task since there are a lot of fishing rods with mastery quests, and each one is equally difficult to complete.
But once you get the Absolute Mastery, the game will activate random passive abilities frequently when you use this fishing rod. This is a great perk since it increases your chances of obtaining rarer creatures while fishing in the vast ocean.
