Roberts was born on May 30, 1955 and turned 71 year old. Fans flooded the comments section with well wishes for the superstar. Jake Roberts has enjoyed a memorable run in AEW since making his surprise debut on the March 4, 2020 edition of Dynamite. The WWE Hall of Famer immediately grabbed attention when he confronted Cody Rhodes and ominously warned that the dark side was coming to the promotion. Shortly afterward, Roberts aligned himself with Lance Archer, becoming the manager and spokesperson for the imposing Murderhawk Monster.

Although 71-year-old legend initially joined AEW on a short-term trial agreement, his presence quickly proved valuable, leading to multiple contract renewals over the years. His legendary promo ability and decades of wrestling knowledge have made him an important figure both on and off television. In addition to managing talent, Roberts has served as a mentor and advisor, helping develop younger stars for the Tony Khan-led promotion.
