Day three of the 2026 French Open promises to bring some thrilling tennis action. Amongst the line up for the day are men’s and women’s World No.1s Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka, as well as Grand Slam winners Coco Gauff, Daniil Medvedev and Naomi Osaka.
Roland Garros has already seen some incredible performances this year, with Novak Djokovic moving past Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in his opening round match, while Taylor Fritz was upset by compatriot Nishesh Basavareddy, and Emma Raducanu failed to pull through her first round clash.
Thanks for the submission!
As we gear up for a third day of action at the event, here are the predictions for the day.
#1. Emma Navarro vs Janice Tjen

On Tuesday, Emma Navarro will begin her time at the French Open with a battle against Janice Tjen. The duo are scheduled to be in action at 11:00 AM local time on Court 12.
Navarro arrives in Paris just days after her triumphant run at the Strasbourg Open. Competing at the WTA 500 event, the American began her campaign with a win over Sara Bejlek in her opening round, before she upset third seed Iva Jovic. The 25-year-old then got the better of Zhang Shuai and Ann Li to reach the finals, where she defeated top seed Victoria Mboko.
On the other hand, Tjen’s most recent competitive outing came at the Morocco Open, where she made a round of 16 exit against Camila Osorio. Going into Navarro and Tjen’s upcoming clash, the American might be carrying some fatigue from her long week in Strasbourg, but she will be a favorite for the win regardless.
Pick: Emma Navarro to win in straight sets.
#2. Jannik Sinner vs Clement Tabur

Jannik Sinner will kick off his hunt for a maiden French Open title on Tuesday, May 26 against home player Clement Tabur. The duo are scheduled to be in action at 8:15 PM local time on the Philippe-Chatrier court and their battle promises some interesting action.
Sinner arrives to the match an overwhelming favorite for the win, having picked up five consecutive titles in the past three months while going undefeated on clay in 2026. Meanwhile, Tabur’s best result on the red dirt this season is a title finish at the Tallahassee Tennis Challenger. While the Frenchman had shown some gutsy performances over the course of his career, Sinner is expected to breeze past him without much effort.
Pick: Jannik Sinner to win in straight sets.
