WWE Clash in Italy is a week away as of this writing. The much-awaited premium live event will emanate live from Inalpi Arena in Turin on Sunday, May 31. It will mark the company’s first major international show in the post-WrestleMania 42 season.
Triple H & Co. have curated a star-studded lineup for Clash in Italy. Four title matches have been announced for the show so far. Cody Rhodes will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Gunther. Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu will engage in Tribal Combat, with the fate of the World Heavyweight Championship hanging in the balance.
Thanks for the submission!
In the women’s division, Rhea Ripley and Jade Cargill will square off for the WWE Women’s Championship. Meanwhile, Becky Lynch will put her Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line against Sol Ruca.
Tomorrow night, WWE will host the go-home edition of RAW before Clash in Italy. The show will take place at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio. Oba Femi, Becky Lynch, Bayley, The Judgment Day, and Lyra Valkyria have been confirmed to appear on the program thus far.
The creative team is expected to add another match to Clash in Italy on this week’s RAW. It might even have surprises in store for fans to create hype surrounding the upcoming premium live event in Turin. In this article, we will discuss how the WWE RAW before Clash in Italy must be booked.
#3. WWE Must Address the Brock Lesnar Situation
Brock Lesnar kicked off a heated feud with Oba Femi on the Road to WrestleMania 42. The Ruler, who was relatively new to the main roster at the time, constantly humiliated Lesnar in the buildup to their ‘Mania match. For arguably the first time in his career, Lesnar looked mortal on WWE programming. Many even viewed him as the underdog in his feud against Femi.
At The Showcase of the Immortals, Femi squashed Lesnar in less than five minutes. Following the loss, the former Universal Champion was visibly emotional. In an unexpected move, he removed his wrestling boots and gloves in the squared circle, signaling his retirement from in-ring competition.
Lesnar embraced WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman in the middle of the ring and bid farewell to fans. However, he seemingly backtracked on his decision to retire. Last week, The Beast showed up out of nowhere and assaulted Oba Femi.
Heyman later confirmed that Lesnar and Femi will collide in a rematch at Clash in Italy. Many fans are eagerly looking forward to the contest. However, some viewers are confused about Lesnar’s WWE status.
On this week’s RAW, Brock Lesnar must address the situation surrounding his retirement. Otherwise, The Oracle should deliver a promo explaining the reason behind the legend’s comeback and whether the retirement angle was a ruse.
Lesnar vs. Femi promises to be a massive box office draw. However, WWE must curate a compelling storyline on The Beast’s retirement and recent return. It would make his program with the former NXT Champion seem more believable and interesting.
#2. Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu Should Tease Surprises for Tribal Combat on WWE RAW
The Roman Reigns-Jacob Fatu rivalry has reached its boiling point. Fatu is hell-bent on dethroning Reigns as the World Heavyweight Champion and upgrading his family’s lifestyle. Meanwhile, the OTC is willing to go to any lengths to protect his throne.
After a hard-hitting match at Backlash, the duo will compete in Tribal Combat at Clash in Italy. This week’s WWE RAW will feature a contract signing segment featuring Reigns and The Samoan Werewolf. Things are bound to get explosive when The Bloodline and the former United States Champion meet in the ring.
On the final RAW before Clash in Italy, WWE should book Reigns and Fatu to tease some surprises for Tribal Combat. The match type is known for featuring outside interferences, and the creative team should head in that direction again.
The Usos will surely have Reigns’ back in the upcoming World Heavyweight Championship match. However, they’ve arguably been unable to take down Fatu. Hence, the OTC should hint at having more backup for the upcoming premium live event.
Jacob Fatu should also remind his cousins of their other relatives in the business. He could tease bringing in a member of the Anoa’i-Fatu family as his backup in Tribal Combat. Umaga’s son, Zilla Fatu, could be the ideal candidate for this role. He was Jacob’s tag team partner on the independent circuit, and they share a close bond in real life.
The potential teasers could create hype surrounding the premium live event. It would also make the match’s outcome way more unpredictable. The Bloodline saga thrives on debuts and returns. Triple H should pull off another massive angle in Turin to win back fans after some recent lackluster storylines.
#1. Seth Rollins & Street Profits vs. The Vision Should be Announced for Clash In Italy
Seth Rollins has been at odds with The Vision after Bron Breakker excommunicated him from the faction last year. In The Future’s absence, Heyman recruited Gunther to tackle The Visionary. At WrestleMania 42, The Ring General defeated Rollins with the help of a returning Breakker.
Rollins and Breakker squared off in a singles match at Backlash 2026. The second-generation wrestler managed to defeat the veteran with the help of The Vision.
The Street Profits have also been feuding with the faction since their return to WWE programming. Montez Ford, Angelo Dawkins, and Rollins have a common enemy. However, the duo seemingly doesn’t trust The Visionary due to his past actions.
WWE has been teasing Seth Rollins’ union with The Street Profits for weeks. At Saturday Night’s Main Event XLIV, Ford and Dawkins lost to Austin Theory and Logan Paul due to Breakker’s interference. Hence, it’s time for the babyfaces to combine forces to take down The Vision once and for all.
A slot is still available on the Clash in Italy match card. The feud pitting The Street Profits and Seth Rollins against The Vision must be featured at the upcoming premium live event. On this week’s RAW, WWE should announce a massive six-man tag team match between the two sides.
The creative team should book an all-out brawl between the rival groups, leading to a bout at Clash in Italy. Rollins, Ford, Dawkins, and The Vision are immensely popular among viewers. Italian fans would love to see them in action on May 31.
