WWE Superstars are no strangers when it comes to online hate or criticism from the audience. Recently, Piper Niven went off on fans who have been constantly trolling her on social media amid her injury hiatus from the promotion.
Last year, Piper Niven defeated Charlotte Flair in a singles match and went on a hiatus from the company. It was later revealed that Niven suffered a career-threatening neck injury and has been working on her recovery since her absence from the weekly product. She recently underwent successful surgery, but a certain section of the fans online has targeted the star.
Thanks for the submission!
From getting compared to NXT’s Mason Rook to getting released sooner rather than later, a certain section of the audience has been going out of their way to ridicule the 35-year-old star. Recently, Slaygent P went off on fans who have been finding ways to demean her on social media.
“I’m very interested in the why of how people think and act the way they do and it’s usually either- S*xual inadequacy (pee pee too small). Mother criticised them too much growing up (s*xual frustration now all women must pay). Repressing homos*xuality for whatever reason and somehow that’s women’s fault too. Now thats not me saying that if you don’t find me attractive then it’s one of these things but what I am saying is for grown men to go out their way to try and tear a woman down for the crime of simply existing… it’s 100% one of your big 3 right here. Fascinating really,” Niven tweeted on X.
Even in recovery, Slaygent P gave a biffing reply to those who are trying to create unnecessary hate on social media.
Piper Niven is a three-time champion in WWE
In 2019, Piper Niven officially signed with the Stamford-based promotion following her first appearance in the inaugural Mae Young Classic. Later, Niven became a staple in the women’s division on WWE NXT UK before she received her main roster call-up and was renamed ‘Duodrop’ under the old regime on WWE RAW.
It took a few years before she was called ‘Piper Niven’ under the new regime. The 35-year-old star also worked in the 24/7 division, where she captured the gimmick championship on two occasions. Later, she had a dominant run in the tag team division as the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions alongside Chelsea Green before they lost the titles to Kayden Carter and Katana Chance.
