WWE RAW this past week teased The Rock’s return in a subtle manner during a backstage segment. The Final Boss hasn’t been seen on programming since Elimination Chamber 2025, when he helped John Cena turn heel and attacked Cody Rhodes ruthlessly.
Seth Rollins and LA Knight had a backstage segment on the show this past week, where they discussed The Vision and Rollins’ ongoing feud with them. Knight pointed out how he was outnumbered, and that Rollins should not expect him to help out after everything that he put the former United States Champion through when he was in the faction.
Thanks for the submission!
After LA Knight walked away, a tour bus in the background featuring The Rock’s face was visible clearly, and it was yet another subtle tease of The Final Boss potentially returning to television in the near future.
WWE’s tour buses usually feature people from the active roster, which is why The Rock’s presence was a surprise. This isn’t the first time his return has been teased, as the same has been done in previous segments involving LA Knight in the past. However, there are seemingly no plans in store for The People’s Champion to return anytime soon.
Roman Reigns claims nobody will be able to replicate The Rock’s career
In a recent interview with Nico Leonard, Roman Reigns claimed that Dwayne Johnson had managed to transition from wrestling to Hollywood perfectly, and that no one would be able to do it the same way.
“Especially what he’s done is unspoken. You know, nobody ever hit the scene like Dwayne did and then was able to just move on to the next thing. You know what I mean? To be able to keep it there like that was perfect. Three or four years of perfection, and then you know, to smoothly transition to the big screen. No one will ever do that. It’ll never happen again,” said Roman Reigns.
The Rock is one of Hollywood’s most successful names, and is also one of the biggest names in WWE history. While others such as John Cena, Batista and The Miz have also taken the same route, The Great One’s journey has been the most striking across both industries.
