A former WWE star just lost a World Title match. He has now sent a message amid recent return rumors.

Baron Corbin wrestled for the WWE for several years. He started off in NXT before he got called up to the main roster. During his time on the main roster, Corbin experienced a bit of success by winning the United States Championship. He also won the Money in the Bank briefcase and the King of the Ring tournament. However, he was never able to get over with the fans despite the company changing his gimmick several times. He was even moved back to NXT, where he formed a tag team with Bron Breakker. Eventually, he was released from the company. Since his release, Corbin has worked for several promotions on the independent scene. In recent weeks, rumors have resurfaced that he could be on his way back to WWE.

Over the weekend, Baron Corbin competed at the WSW Rise Against show. He competed against Karrion Kross for the vacant WSW World Heavyweight Title and lost the bout. Following the match, Corbin took to social media to send a message.

“I hope I can get back out here in October bc WsW Australia has been unreal. Top-notch production, electric crowds, and a locker room full of killers. Getting in there with Killer Kross was exactly what this business is supposed to feel like — violent, loud, and unforgettable.”

Baron Corbin was not happy with a recent WWE storyline

After Randy Orton turned heel, he was seen talking on the phone to a mystery person. This person was revealed to be Pat McAfee a few weeks later. Many people were not pleased with this reveal since it didn’t make any sense. Even Baron Corbin was not happy with this reveal.

Speaking to Denise Salcedo, Corbin said that the WrestleMania main event did not need a celebrity to get involved since the story between Randy and Cody was good enough.

“I think the main event of WrestleMania does not need a celebrity or outside involvement. I think the story should be between the two guys. I’m bummed out a little bit with the story that is being told between Cody and Randy because I think with the history that they have and Randy being the mentor and Randy having him throw his brother out of the Royal Rumble, that’s the story we need to be telling.” he said.

It remains to be seen if Baron Corbin will return to WWE in the future.
