Thai striking specialist Nontachai Jitmuangnon made it three successive triumphs on the global stage of martial arts inside Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium on Friday, May 15.

The Thai slugger outpointed two-time ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title challenger Felipe Lobo via unanimous decision at ONE Fight Night 43: Tang vs. Gasanov on Prime Video in U.S. primetime.

Nontachai and Lobo kicked things off by trading stiff low kicks in this bantamweight Muay Thai matchup.

But the former’s follow-up shots stung the man known to his fans as ‘Demolition Man.’ He found a home for his huge overhand rights that snapped the Tiger Muay Thai representative’s head back on a few occasions.

He stuck to the same tactic as the round came to a close. Lobo’s heavy combinations threatened to turn things around, but the Jitmuangnon Gym man won most of the exchanges with his accuracy and speed.

He got out of his stool to resume his onslaught in the second frame. The 27-year-old turned up the intensity and marched straight through the Brazilian’s heaviest shots.

The 27-year-old Thai slammed home thudding knees inside the clinch and ensured he had another weapon waiting to connect on the former two-time world title challenger.

Lobo, though, refused to break. The veteran fired back with crisp boxing on the outside to keep the frame genuinely competitive.

Sensing he needed something dramatic, the South American came out swinging in the third.

A clean right hand momentarily froze Nontachai, and a brutal body shot nearly forced the Thai to take a knee, but the Jitmuangnon Gym ace dug deep, weathered the storm, and made it to the final bell.

The triumph keeps Nontachai firmly inside the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title conversation, with reigning king Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon now squarely in his crosshairs.

With his third straight triumph on the global stage of martial arts, the Jitmuangnon Gym man improved to a stellar 53-22 in his career. More performances like this could see him challenge for the 26 pounds of gold before 2026 ends.
