A top star has commented on working with Chris Jericho. These two stars worked together last year.
Before Chris Jericho went on hiatus, he was involved in a feud with Bandido over the ROH World Championship. The feud lasted a few months and culminated in a mask vs title match at Dynasty 2026, where Bandido defeated Jericho to become the new ROH World Champion.
During a recent interview with Denise Salcedo, ROH World Champion Bandido expressed gratitude towards Jericho for the way the latter worked with his family.
“Working with him with awesome. When I see him, it’s like, ‘Thank you very much for everything’ because I think Jericho was one of the persons to change my life. I’m very grateful with him. The way of how he worked with me and my family, it’s amazing. We’re very thankful with him.” [H/T Fightful]
Jonathan Coachman claimed that Chris Jericho turned down Triple H’s pitch for his WWE return
After Chris Jericho lost to Bandido, he walked out of Dynamite the following week and took a hiatus from TV. During this time, there was a lot of speculation about his future in the company. Many fans even believed that the former World Champion would be leaving AEW for WWE when his contract expired. Jericho also played into these rumors by posting clips from his time in the sports entertainment juggernaut. However, Jericho eventually returned to Tony Khan’s company earlier this year.
Speaking on the Coach and Bro Show, Jonathan Coachman said that the only plan Triple H had for Jericho was a storyline with CM Punk, which is why he chose to return to AEW.
“I talked to my connect and when Jericho was trying to decide, and Tony admitted to us that he was a free agent, apparently Triple H the only thing he had for him was a program with CM Punk. That was it. And Jericho was like, ‘Nothing else? Nothing else?’ And you see what happened,” he said. [H/T – TJR Wrestling]
Since returning to AEW, Jericho has been in a feud with Ricochet and The Demand. They will face each other in a Stadium Stampede match at Double or Nothing.
