Update 50 in Steal a Brainrot released the Backrooms Event to offer players more ways to get rare units. Occurring every few hours, this event lets you enter a cave, explore the backrooms, and grab Brainrots without spending any Cash. The only threat while collecting characters is the spider versions of Sammy lurking in the backrooms, who are ready to pursue and kill any player in their sight.
Here’s how you can make the most out of the Backrooms Event in Steal a Brainrot.
When does the Backrooms Event begin in Steal a Brainrot?
The Backrooms Event happens every two hours on weekdays and every hour on weekends. It occurs in both public and private servers, including those that contain new players, allowing them to grab rare Brainrots from the get-go.
When the Backrooms Event is active, all players are allowed to enter the cave close to the entrance of the conveyor belt. This is the same cave that previously contained the tube for summoning 1x1x1x1 with the Guerriro Digitale ritual.
Before entering the cave, make sure to lock your base and take proper security measures to prevent players from stealing your Brainrots. The best way to prevent theft is by reaching Rebirth 7 to unlock the All-Seeing Sentry in the Coin Shop. Deploy this sentry inside your base and it will shoot any rival player in its range.
About the Backrooms Event in Steal a Brainrot
After entering the cave introduced by the Backrooms Event, you will notice a portal at the center of the backrooms area. Brainrots constantly appear out of this portal and march towards the conveyor belt. If you’re lucky, you may even find a Secret Brainrot popping out of the portal, ready to be purchased.
The backrooms also have Brainrots all over the place. To collect one, interact with it by holding the E key and take the lifted unit to your base. These characters can be grabbed for free compared to the ones appearing from the portal, which require the in-game currency called Cash.
The deeper you navigate in the backrooms, the better are your chances of finding Secret Brainrots. However, be aware of the Evil Sammy entities while exploring. These hostile creatures track players and pounce on them, causing their avatars to drop their held Brainrots and respawn in the main map.
During the Backrooms Event, a Speed Shop appears in the middle of the map to help you increase your movement speed and outmaneuver the evil entities. Each Speed upgrade is locked behind a Rebirth requirement, though.
To make the +10 Speed upgrade, you’ll need to perform a total of five Rebirths in Steal a Brainrot. The fifth Rebirth requires you to collect 100,000,000 Cash and a couple of Brainrots, namely Orangutini Ananassini and Frigo Camelo.
You can collect up to 44 Speed during the event. However, this stat is reset after the end of the Backrooms Event on the server.
