WWE’s relentless firing spree in April and May of 2026 has become a major cause of concern in the locker room. An up-and-coming talent recently revealed that he’s scared of losing his job.

Triple H was said to be the primary decision-maker on the latest wave of cuts, which saw more than 25 wrestlers released by the Stamford-based promotion.

Rumor has it that TKO has asked multiple talents to restructure their deals to maximize revenue, as they’re still in debt due to Endeavor’s past. According to reports, a number of wrestlers were asked to take pay cuts due to their lighter schedules these days.

A majorly pushed talent took a 50% pay cut to remain with WWE. It wouldn’t be far-fetched to say that no one is immune or safe following the latest budget cuts. In a video posted on WWE’s YouTube channel, Maxxine Dupri’s husband, Kam Hendrix, said he’s concerned about losing his job because he feels the clock is ticking.

“Every day, even before filming LFG, I felt like the clock was ticking on me. I know that this place has a time limit and nobody can be here forever. I know that this whole thing, everything I ever worked for, could be taken from me.”

He admitted that anyone could be cut from the roster if they aren’t evolving as a star.

“So if you’re not evolving as a Superstar, evolving as a character, anyone could be let go. Anyone could be cut for any reason they want. This is subjective at the end of the day. Nobody deserves anything, you’ve gotta earn everything.”

What’s next for Kam Hendrix in WWE?

After participating in the first two seasons of WWE LFG, Kam Hendrix has finally earned himself a spot in NXT.

He made his debut last week, attacking North American Champion Myles Borne following his successful title defense against Saquon Shugars of the Darkstate.

Kam Hendrix made his presence felt on this week’s episode of NXT. He attacked Tony D’Angelo backstage. As a result, the General Manager, Robert Stone, kicked him out of the building.

Later in the show, he tried to interfere during the main event between Tony D’Angelo and Tavion Heights, but was taken out by Myles Borne.

Will he face repercussions for his actions? Or is he going to insert himself into the title picture? Fans must stay tuned to find out.
