RCB will be raring to go after a week-long break, but they’ll be wary of their opponents for this game, despite their position on the points table. Nicholas Pooran returned to form with a swashbuckling 21-ball 63, batting at No.3, in LSG’s defeat to MI.
While RCB possesses the bowling firepower to trouble Pooran, his explosive point-scoring potential makes him a worthy transfer choice for our team, especially with LSG playing another game in quick succession (vs CSK – M53).
Virat Kohli is the obvious choice to bring in from RCB, especially on what shouldn’t be the most straightforward of batting wickets. Kohli has put up solid numbers this season and is a bankable option from the defending champions.
Lastly, while we have the credits to pick up the current Purple Cap holder, Bhuvneswar Kumar, we are leaning towards bringing in Rasikh Salam. The seamer has picked up six wickets in five matches, including a four-wicket haul. LSG is a side that has tended to lose wickets in clusters, in the middle and death overs, which is exactly when Rasikh operates. His relatively cheaper price (7.5 Credits) makes him an easy hold for this run-in.
