AEW tag team Young Bucks hint at some huge things down the line after New Day exits WWE. For years, fans have talked about the two teams colliding in the squared circle. Unfortunately, they never did. The New Day was formed in the global sports entertainment juggernaut, and the tag team was part of WWE for over a decade. However, now that Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are no longer part of the company, the match could really take place in the future.

Apparently, the reason for their departure was that TKO tried to alter their already-signed contracts. It did not sit right with the two veterans, and they therefore decided to depart the company. Not even 24 hours have gone by, and reports are claiming that, along with fans, some AEW stars are also pushing New Day to be signed with the Jacksonville-based promotion.

Amidst the chaos, the Young Bucks retweeted an interesting tweet. On January 1, 2029, Matt and Nick Jackson introduced AEW on their Being the Elite account. Xavier Woods is one of the commenters below the same tweet. He wished the Bucks good luck for All Elite Wrestling. It seems like the former AEW World Tag Team Champions are hinting at something huge by resurfacing the post.

Tommaso Ciampa breaks the silence after New Day’s exit

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have been 13-time tag team champions in WWE. Their positivity, inside and outside of the ring, inspired many.

While writing on Instagram, Tommaso Ciampa talked about his time with the New Day members over the years. He also posted a handful of pictures of them.

“Congrats to both guys on such incredible careers. I can’t wait to see the next chapter. I often told myself throughout my career to “take the photo”… it’s something I’m becoming better at as of late. But I do regret missing so many great photo opportunities early on (…) Woods and I first crossed paths at the ECWA Super 8 about 16 years ago. And the other two photos were taken right after TLC SummerSlam. I think the photos and the cast of characters speak for themselves. Lots of fantastic performers and people,” he said.

It will be interesting to see what is next for the former WWE World Tag Team Championships.
