The First Sunbringer is a Secret-rarity unit inspired by Yoriichi Tsugikuni from the Demon Slayer anime and manga. Possessing high damage, this unit can also inflict Burn debuffs with its Follow-Up attacks, which slowly reduce the health of bosses and enemies.

How to get The First Sunbringer in Re:Rangers X
The First Sunbringer can be pulled from the Rate-Up Summons gacha. This banner is unlocked after a player reaches Level 15, and a single summon in it costs 100 Gems. You can earn Gems by completing levels, finishing quests, and redeeming Re:Rangers X codes.
Given that it is a Secret unit, it has an extremely low pull chance. The First Sunbringer is not featured in the banner or the “Odds” menu. You may need to spend thousands of Gems and always rely on your RNG luck to get the unit.
Making 5000 summons in the Rate-Up gacha will activate the game’s pity system. You’ll receive a Secret unit, which could be The First Sunbringer, Streamer, or any other character of similar rarity. So, to hit the pity requirement, acquire a total of 500,000 Gems and keep summoning characters.
The First Sunbringer evolution requirements in Re:Rangers X
The First Sunbringer can be evolved to The First Sunbringer (Hinokomi). To do so, interact with the Hollow NPC in the Upgrade zone, select the Secret unit, and complete the following evolution requirements:
- 500 takedowns with The First Sunbringer
- 250x Fire Universe
- 70x Ranger Crystal
- 1x Blade of Sun
- 350,000 Gold
Fire Universe, akin to other Universe items, can be obtained from the Spiral Invasion Rift. Complete the levels on greater difficulty for a better chance of acquiring the required evolution items.
Ranger Crystals are common items, typically purchased from the Ghoul Shop and by completing Challenges. You can also acquire them from redemption codes.
The Blade of Sun is an item that rarely appears in the stock of the King Seller NPC. Once it becomes available, you can buy it with 10,000,000 Gold.
The First Sunbringer (Hinokomi) passives in Re:Rangers X
The First Sunbringer (Hinokomi) currently has a couple of passives. It is likely to get buffed, potentially receiving more passives and an ultimate, making it worthy of the Secret tier.
Notably, this character can inflict Burn on enemies. These debuffs are only applied by its Follow-Up attacks and each damages the enemies over time.
Passives of The First Sunbringer (Hinokomi) are as follows:
- 1,500 Slashes In A Single Second: When The First Sunbringer performs a basic attack, he triggers 15 Follow-Ups at the rate of one every 0.05 seconds. These attacks have a 15% chance to apply Burn. The Burn debuff deals 2% Damage every second, lasting for three seconds, and an enemy can receive up to 25 such debuffs.
- The Strongest Sun Slayer: When attacking a boss, the Follow-Up Burn chance is 25%.
Increase the unit’s level cap with Limit Break. Moreover, equip it with Traits, Curses, accessories, and Souls to unlock its full potential. The ideal accessories for this Yoriichi-inspired character are those that increase its Ability Damage and Follow-Up Attacks, although Cooldown can also be prioritized.
