Calah Jackson has accused ex Steven McBee Jr. of abuse after he claimed recent girlfriend Allie Ecklund cheated on him while attending Stagecoach 2026.
“I’ve stayed quiet on this topic for over a year since season 2 came out to focus on my healing and moving forward,” Jackson, 33, began in a lengthy statement shared via her Instagram Story on Monday, April 27. “But seeing everything come out now & the texts that were posted … what you’re seeing isn’t new behavior or circumstantial, it’s unfortunately who he is and just a small glimpse into what I experienced over the course of my three year relationship with him.”
Jackson continued, “On top of the emotional and verbal abuse I experienced, my character was publicly torn apart and false narratives were pushed about me.”
McBee Jr., 33, and Jackson started dating in 2021 after meeting on Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer. The pair called it quits last year while filming The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys season 2. She claimed on Monday that she “chose to stay silent” after the show aired because she “felt completely defeated.”
“I’m not sharing this for sympathy. I’m sharing it because my truth deserves to be heard too,” her statement concluded.
Jackson also shared a series of alleged texts between her and McBee Jr. following the death of her sister. In one alleged exchange, Jackson shared she was going to move back to Texas and wanted to bring their dog with her. McBee Jr. allegedly demanded her to send him an apartment listing.
“I want an app filled out and turned in by the end of the weekend. I’ll have movers lined up the SECOND it’s available,” McBee Jr. allegedly wrote. “I’m so f***ing tired of your bitchiness and you blaming it on your sister’s death. You were a bitch beforehand, you’re a bitch now and you’ll forever be a bitch.”
Jackson claimed that she received the message “a month after” her sister died.
Us Weekly has reached out to a spokesperson from The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys for comment regarding his ex’s allegations.
Earlier on Monday, McBee Jr. accused Ecklund, 29, of cheating on him while she attended the 2026 Stagecoach Music Festival over the weekend.
“I still don’t know exactly what happened,” McBee said in an Instagram clip. “I just know there was hand holding, grinding, dancing, drunken stupor at an afterparty.”
Ecklund broke her silence that same day.
“This is really sad to see, and I’m genuinely at a loss for words,” she wrote via her Instagram Story on Monday, April 27. “Posting everything online before we talked is extremely disheartening and extremely unfair, considering l’ve protected Steven many times during the course of our relationship.”
