This is not the first time Coach Prime is hyped up by Jordyn Tyson’s talent. The Buffaloes coach praised the wide receiver in his press conference following his team’s 42-17 loss to the Sun Devils in Boulder. Sanders disclosed the details of the moment he shared with the player after the game.

“Jordyn Tyson came in there to say, ‘Coach, I apologize.’ I said, ‘Young man, let me tell you something. I love you. I appreciate you. I pray to God that you’re a top-10 pick, top-five pick because you got it,” Sanders said after the Arizona State game.

“You don’t have to apologize to me. You’re young, man. I was young. I was making some of the same mistakes when I was your age. I’m just thankful that you got on the right course.”

Analyst likens Jordyn Tyson to Odell Beckham Jr. amid Browns link

The Cleveland Browns are one of the teams linked to potentially landing Jordyn Tyson in the draft and that was discussed on “Ultimate Cleveland Sports Show” on Monday. In the episode, Garrett Bush likened Tyson to Odell Beckham Jr., believing he would be a good pick.

“He kind of reminds me of Odell Beckham a little bit,” Bush said. “He’s a little more physical and big, but some of the stuff like right there, like the twitchiness and stuff like that. He just reminds me of Odell Beckham Jr. Like, that’s ridiculous.

“He got all the releases. He’s athletic. That’s crazy. That, right there, if you pass on it, then you let somebody else get it, and you’re like, ‘Bro, we could have had him.’ And receivers make you do that more than any other position.”

Jordyn Tyson finished his college football career with 158 receptions for 2,282 yards and 22 touchdowns. He had his breakout season with the Sun Devils in 2024 as the team won the Big 12 championship against the odds. He dropped another solid season in 2025 to become a top prospect in the draft.
