An AEW veteran and WWE Hall of Famer got emotional during Charlotte Flair’s entrance at WrestleMania 42. The legend was watching Night 1 of the major event at a bar.
Major AEW name Ric Flair was visibly emotional watching his daughter Charlotte Flair on the screen. The Nature Boy had signed a multi-year deal with All Elite Wrestling in 2023, and it was revealed in November last year that he is still with Tony Khan’s promotion. His last TV appearance happened nearly a year ago on Collision.
Amid his time away from AEW, Ric Flair was spotted enjoying WrestleMania 42 at a bar. During Night 1 of the event, Ric’s daughter, Charlotte Flair, made her entrance alongside her partner, Alexa Bliss, to compete in the four-way WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match.
During Charlotte’s entrance on the show, Flair got emotional and broke down in tears watching her daughter in a viral clip.

Unfortunately, Charlotte and Alexa failed to capture the tag titles, as Brie Bella and a returning Paige won the titles.
Charlotte Flair has high praise for her father
Before her match at WrestleMania 42, Charlotte Flair spoke highly about her dad and the WWE Hall of Famer, Ric Flair. During an interview with ESPN’s SportsCenter, Charlotte highlighted how Ric is true to himself and is not fake as a person:
“My dad, I think, resonates with so many people because he really is true to himself, and he’s very unapologetic, in terms of who he is, believing in who he is, what he has to offer and just his overall charisma, his character. I mean, whether he’s right or wrong, he’s not pretending to be someone he’s not. I think that’s why he’s lasted and is timeless and stands the test of time, whether it’s pop culture, sports or professional wrestling, because everything he does, he does from the heart and it’s not fake,” The Queen stated.
Following her loss at WrestleMania 42, fans will have to wait and see what’s next for Charlotte in the WWE.
