Jon Rahm’s caddie, Adam Hayes, listed his North Carolina home amidst the LIV Golf uncertainty. On Sunday, golf analyst Josh Carpenter shared news about Rahm’s caddie’s house on his X (formerly Twitter) account. He shared a video of the property and, in the caption, wrote:
“Per @WSJ, Jon Rahm’s caddie Adam Hayes has listed his North Carolina home for nearly $14M. Home sits on nearly 100 acres.”
Thanks for the submission!
Adam Hayes has been a longtime caddie for Jon Rahm. The two started working together in 2016 and, over the years, have had an incredible partnership, in which Rahm won the Masters.
Hayes listed his house amid rumors of the Saudi league’s demise. Earlier this week, on Wednesday, Monday Q Info shared a post on its X (formerly Twitter) account about the future of LIV Golf.
“Ive heard from multiple sources that a bombshell announcement on LIVs future is imminent. We don’t give out gambling advice but If your’re a prediction market type person I would bet the under of whatever they have posted.”
However, LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil released a statement later and said that the league will continue as scheduled in the 2026 season.
Jon Rahm dominates at LIV Golf Mexico City
Jon Rahm won his second LIV Golf event of the season at Mexico City on Sunday. He had an incredible time, starting the outing with an opening round of 65. He carded the next round of 67, followed by another round of 67. He played the fourth round with a 64 and registered a six-stroke win in the game.
Rahm opened up about his win in the post-round press conference.
“I don’t know,” Rahm said. “I think so far this week it was putting. I made a lot of those putts inside 10 feet. Overall I did everything well this week. I never really put myself too far out of position, and I was able to take my medicine or somehow pull out a shot to put myself in position.
“So far this weekend I would say it was short game. There was many up-and-downs I didn’t get down this week. If I had to give it to something, it was that, the touch around the greens and those par putts,” he added.
Jon Rahm started his campaign this season at LIV Golf in Riyadh. He carded rounds of 67, 68, 67, and 63 to settle in solo second place. He was again runner-up at the Adelaide event and then won the Hong Kong event.
He was also impressive in Singapore and settled in solo fifth place, and then was the runner-up in South Africa. Before the Mexico City event, Rahm played at the Masters and settled in a tie for 38th place after carding rounds of 78, 70, 73, and 68.
