A WWE superstar, who has been absent for 12 months, has reacted to Gunther’s return on RAW. The Ring General made a surprise return on the show this week to attack Seth Rollins.

The Visionary had gotten his hands on The Vision’s Paul Heyman and looked set to deliver a Stomp before he was dragged out of the ring by Gunther. The former World Heavyweight Champion then put Rollins in a Sleeper Hold and pointed to the WrestleMania 42 sign.

WWE later confirmed that the two stars will face each other at this year’s showpiece in Las Vegas. The Career Killer posted the video of his return on Instagram, noting that he was back. This post also drew a reaction from his former Imperium stablemate Ludwig Kaiser.

“Druck ab,” he wrote in German, which translates to “press the trigger.”

Notably, Ludwig Kaiser has wrestled as the masked luchador El Grande Americano in WWE since June last year. His last appearance without the current gimmick during an episode of RAW.

He was a part of Imperium with the Ring General, but after his absence from the ring, the faction disbanded quietly.

Gunther is eyeing another big scalp

Gunther has appeared unstoppable in WWE for most of the last year. He won the World Heavyweight Championship for a second time and then beat Goldberg in his retirement match in July.

After returning from a hiatus, he made John Cena tap out in the GOAT’s final WWE match on December 13 at Saturday Night’s Main Event. He followed it up by retiring AJ Styles at the Royal Rumble earlier this year.

Now, after weeks of absence, he has returned to RAW and is now eyeing another big name in Seth Rollins. While the reason behind the attack on The Architect has not been explained, fans might get more clarity in the buildup to WrestleMania 42.
