Bravo’s Summer House season 10 reunion is set to be full of drama as it will film just weeks after costars Amanda Batula and West Wilson took their romance public.
Hours after Amanda, 34, and West, 31, confirmed their relationship via a joint Instagram announcement, a source told Us Weekly that the special is set to film in “mid-April.”
A report by Deadline, published on Tuesday, March 31, also stated a “mid-April” start date, with insiders telling the outlet that cameras will not pick back up to capture any fallout like it has for past drama, including Summer House stars Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke’s August 2023 breakup.
Andy Cohen, who will host the upcoming reunion, took to social media on Tuesday to touch base with fans about what they hope to see unfold. “My team is getting ready for THE SUMMER HOUSE REUNION!” he wrote via X. “Send me all of your questions for the cast NOW.”
Us Weekly has reached out to Bravo for comment.
After weeks of online speculation, fans of Summer House were treated to ample detail into how Amanda and West’s romance grew.
“It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it,” the pair’s Instagram confirmation read. “We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected,” they continued. “Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
The announcement concluded, “As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
In the post’s wake, several Bravo stars took to social media to share their thoughts on the revelation, particularly as Amanda, who shared a close friendship with West’s ex and Summer House costar Ciara Miller, had only announced her split from estranged husband Kyle Cooke on January 19.
Vanderpump Rules’ Katie Maloney shared her reaction via Instagram Threads, likening the situation to her show’s Tom Sandoval and Rachel “Raquel” Levis affair while Sandoval, 43, was dating Ariana Madix. (News of the affair broke in March 2023 and the scandal notoriously earned the nickname “Scandoval.”)
“Omg so this is what it’s like being on the other side of Scandoval!!!??? Whoa,” Katie wrote on Tuesday. “Too [sic] be a fly on the group chat wall! If any of them wanna add me I feel like I could help assist.”
Southern Charm’s Venita Aspen also wrote via her Instagram Stories, “Imagine making a statement hard-launching a ‘connection’ and not even considering apologizing to the person you hurt. But I guess that tracks.”
As for Ciara, 30, the reality star has not publicly commented directly on her costars’ romance but did seemingly throw shade their way while hosting red carpet interviews at the New York City premiere of Your Friends & Neighbors season 2 one day prior.
When asked how she was by the Apple TV series’ star John Hamm, Ciara cryptically responded, “Well, I’ve been better.”
