It’s not even been a month since Brock Lesnar seemingly retired from WWE, and talks of his comeback have already started to make the rounds. An up-and-coming talent has expressed his desire to work with the Beast Incarnate.
Brock Lesnar lost to Oba Femi in a one-sided match at WrestleMania 42 Night Two opener.
Thanks for the submission!
After the match, the 48-year-old icon broke down in tears and bid an emotional goodbye. He placed his gloves and boots on the canvas to call time on his in-ring career.
Shortly after, his profile was moved to the alumni section on WWE.com. However, the Beast is still listed as an active performer internally, sparking speculation of his last hurrah ahead of SummerSlam 2026.
The Beast has been synonymous with the Biggest Party of the Summer, and fans are secretly hoping to see him back before all is said and done.
In an interview with ITRWrestling, Parker Boudreaux shared his thoughts on Brock Lesnar’s retirement and whether he will ever come back for one more match.
“If it is actually (retirement), because you know, he has probably retired five times, so we’ll see you know! Hey man, I would never say never because you never know with wrestling. I mean, for me, he still looks in prime shape. He almost looked bigger than he was and stronger. So it’s not like he lost anything. And so, for him, he is such a one-of-one person, he could come back any moment, do anything.”
Parker Boudreaux also pitched the idea of working with The Beast in any capacity.
“Obviously, if anybody would be looking forward to anything in the future, me and him pairing up or me versus him or me and him, you know, doing something. Him mentoring me, you know, I’m sure people would love to see (it). You can’t tell me millions of people would not want to see that, but other than that man, he’s Brock Lesnar, dude, he could do whatever he wants. He is the legend, man.”
Is Brock Lesnar vs. Gunther at WWE SummerSlam 2026 still possible?
Fans have been clamouring for a match between Brock Lesnar and Gunther since the time the two shared the ring at the Royal Rumble in 2023.
Triple H has yet to pull the trigger on this feud, but it seemed like the wheels were in motion when Paul Heyman owed Gunther a favor post-WrestleMania 42.
However, the favor turned out to be a shot at Cody Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship at Clash in Italy. The chances of the dream match happening are slim to none at the time of writing.
That doesn’t mean the Ring General can’t call out the Beast Incarnate for a match. If he wins the Undisputed WWE Championship, a title vs. career match could be on the cards for the Biggest Party of the Summer.
